Two runners today with Organdi at Taunton and Lady Of Authority at Wolverhampton.  Hopefully both have each way chances.

We also have two runners tomorrow with Muthabir going to Doncaster in the three mile handicap hurdle and Iron Horse running in his first handicap hurdle at Ludlow.

Muthabir will have Danny Hiskett back onboard claiming five pounds which will hopefully help his cause, although it is a competitive race.

Iron Horse will wear cheek pieces for the first time and he has a fairly high handicap mark but hopefully the headgear will help him to concentrate better and jump with more fluency.  Tom Bellamy has been booked to take the ride and has schooled him at home and ridden him before.

Huge congratulations to my former assistant, Catch Bissett who last night won the ‘Employee of the Year’ Award at the Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Awards in London.  Catch kindly invited myself and Jo to join her for the evening.

Catch joined us as a BHA graduate in 2011 and was with us for two and a half years before moving back to Scotland to join Nick Alexander.  She thorough deserved to win the award and it was great to share the moment with her and her father Alf on what was a proud moment for all.
