On the way to Doncaster to saddle Muthabir in the 4.05pm who hopefully will run his usual game race for us.  He is now nine and a few of the younger generation are taking him on today who may be better handicapped but I am sure he will do his best.

Back to Doncaster tomorrow with Present From Dubai who runs in the 2 1/2 mile handicap hurdle.  He has run well on the course before and hopefully the step up in trip will suit as long as he settles.  Tom Bellamy takes the ride and has schooled him at home.

It is a race we have had success in before however he had a few niggles before Christmas and I am sure he will improve for the run.  He is a horse of potential and hopefully will reward the patience of his owners over the coming months.

It was great to support the Jazz, Japanese and Jenerosity evening at Stow Rugby club.  In aid of Kate’s Home Nursing and Bourton church, there was a great turn out to support such great causes.   Hopefully a good sum of money has been raised on what was a very enjoyable evening thanks to entertainment from Hot Fingers and Emily Campbell and delicious Japanese food.
