Organdi ran well today in the maiden hurdle at Ludlow, finishing fourth.  She was a bit keen early on but travelled into the race nicely in the home straight.  She was a bit novicy at her hurdles thereon in but stayed on well after the last to narrowly be beaten for the third.

She got stuck in the mud at Southwell last time and clearly likes better ground like many of her sire’s offspring.  It was great to have so many of the Beautiful People syndicate at the races and we look forward to her giving us some fun and success in 2019.

Thanks to all who attended the Adlestrop Club Question of Sport Quiz last night.  It was great to have the event so well attended and a million thanks to all the celebrities who went of of their way to help raise money for the excellent sporting charity, Aspire.

Victory went to my old school team, ‘St Andrews Old Boy’s who played a blinder by buying your truly in the auction for the racing round and also having Jon Dadswell so quick off the buzzer in the exciting tie-break question.

The team also consisted of John Rosbotham, Ross Straughan and Mark Davies and it was a proud moment for all concerned as they have been trying to win the event for several years.
