Arctic Chief ran well last night in the novice stakes at Kempton finishing fourth.  He travelled well off the pace and finished nicely up the straight.  He has had his problems so it was pleasing to see him finish the race so well.

Hopefully his handicap mark won’t be too high on the flat as he appears to like the all-weather surface.  We also have the option of going back over hurdles as long as it stays dry.

Organdi is declared in the 1.45pm at Ludlow – a 2 mile 5 maiden hurdle.  She was an excellent second on her bumper debut at Wincanton but appeared to get stuck in the mud at Southwell last time out.

Hopefully the ground at Ludlow will ride a lot better tomorrow and she has schooled well at home.  Brendan Powell takes the ride and hopefully she will have a nice introduction on her hurdling debut.
