Master Vintage settled much better yesterday.  He travelled well before making a mistake three out, after which he took a bit of a breath then stayed on up the straight.

Charlie Poste thought that he would come on for the run and would prefer the pace of a steeple chase, therefore we will get Charlie to school him and find a suitable race over two and half before stepping him up.

With a little help from the handicapper, I’m sure he can win for the Adlestrop Club in 2019.

My God children get a £25 bet in the King George for their Christmas present.  Unfortunately this year, none of them got paid out thanks to the impressive winner, Clan Des Obeaux.  As ever it was a great spectacle and the winner looks to be improving, whilst the second did his Gold Cup claims no harm.

My horses to follow list was going well until yesterday but with Might Bite and Buveur D’Air keeping out of the winners enclosure, I will be relying heavily on their return to the Festival.

More great racing today at Kempton and Chepstow and hoping my horses to follow lists are benefited by Elegant Escape, Altori, Kalashnikov or Maria’s Benefit.
