Two runners tomorrow.  Roundhead runs in the 12.15pm at Warwick, the juvenile hurdle.  He was bought in the summer and has since been gelded.  He has schooled very well and having improved for a step up in trip on the flat, he looks a potentially nice hurdler who has the size and scope to jump a fence.

Danny Hiskett has done a lot of schooling on him and takes the ride.  Hopefully the ground will not be too soft and he will show us some promise for his exemplary owner, Ed Ware.

Beautiful People runs in the 3.50pm at Taunton – a 3 mile handicap hurdle and Danny will make the trip to Taunton to ride her, taking off five pounds.  She has done us proud this summer having won twice and has had a little break in the meantime.

Hopefully the ground will be acceptable for her as she likes a sound surface.  Taunton may not be an ideal track for her but there are very few other races for her at present and hopefully she will put up a good show.

Worked a few of the string this morning as we have entries at the weekend and next week.

Congratulations to Jo, my long suffering PA who has been shortlisted for the Dedication to Racing Award in the Godolphin Stable Staff Awards.  Also to my ex Assistant Catch Bissett who has been shortlisted in the Leadership category.  Let’s hope they both win!
