We’ve made some entries at Huntington next week for Arctic Chief, Totterdown and Beautiful People. Looking forward to having a few runners in October but as ever some rain is needed for most of them.
We schooled a few novices yesterday with Tom Bellamy onboard in the outdoor school.
Visited owner/breeder Sue Welch yesterday afternoon to see some of her youngstock – including a very nice son of Tiger Line. Tiger Line did very well for us when in training, winning and being placed many times. She was a real tough character and as a daughter of Kayf Tara, looks like making a decent broodmare.
There is some good flat racing coming up over the weekend with some interesting two-year-old races being run.
The Royal Lodge, Cheveley Park and the Middle Park always lead to informative results for the following season. Sergei Prokofiev looks interesting at a price in the latter, if settling better this time.
