A Wednesday work morning, with those doing faster work appearing in good nick.

Colin and Gwenda Pocock arrived late morning to deliver their four-year-old, Shadow Walker following his summer holiday.  He showed promise in the spring and has strengthened up since and looks an exciting prospect for his enthusiastic owners.

As he has just been named, we had a naming ceremony which Barnsy attended as there was alcohol was involved!

Pleased to report that Dark’n Sharp’s apple tree has an abbundance of fruit this year and we look forward to passing on some Cox’s Orange Pippins to the string in a few weeks.

Last night we had a staff bbq on the schooling ground and took the opportunity to get some rounders practice in for some inter-stable competitions coming up.

There was a variety of abilities on show, whilst Danny Hiskett was immensely disappointed to be caught out by his own dog, Bertie!
