Viva Rafa withdrawn

Viva Rafa was withdrawn at Stratford yesterday on veterinary advice, as he was found to had a heart murmur once on the course.

Having had a wind operation in the past, he has had his ticker checked so he will see a specialist on Friday.  Many successful racehorses have heart murmurs and hopefully following tests, he will get a clean bill of health.

A great day at Ascot yesterday and it was great to catch up with so many owners.  A fantastic win for Eve Johnson-Houghton in the Queen Anne.  Delighted for all concerned and the whole family are living legends.

Delighted with Without Parole who added to my points in my horses to follow competitions.  The Scat Daddys disappointed but as predicted, W Mullins dominated the marathon handicap.

Back to Ascot today and I have sneaky each-way fancy for Snazzy in the Queen Mary.  Looking forward to Cracksman in the Prince of Wales, whilst the Gosden team are in great form and Persur has a chance in the Jersey.  Whilst in the impossible Royal Hunt Cup, I hope it is third time lucky for Hors De Combat.
