Muthabir is declared in the 5.45pm at Market Rasen tomorrow with Ian Popham onboard.  Hopefully they won’t get much more rain as his participation will be in doubt, as we know he likes good ground.

He will be joint top weight having gone up in the handicap for his recent Taunton victory and the race maybe coming a bit quick for him but there are not many other options for him.  He has done us proud this season and he will probably have a break after this run.

Ian Popham came in this morning to ride some work and school a few.  Still not had enough rain to use the schooling ground so the jumping was done in the outdoor school.

It was great to welcome Lizzie Prowting to the yard to see her string.  It was great to see her in such good form and great to catch up over lunch.

Punchestown Festival continues to thrill.  Looking forward to seeing the Coral Punchestown Gold Cup shortly.  A small but select field with Sizing John trying to follow up on his Cheltenham victory but certainly if Coneygree was back to his best, the race could be an exciting spectacle.
