Two runners at Kempton tomorrow

On my way to Huntingdon to saddle Minella Whisper in the 3.55pm.  He has been tipped in the Racing Post in his first handicap but I fear the ground might be a bit soft for him.  However I am sure the step up in trip will suit.

Both Viva Rafa and Bertie Barnes run in the 3pm at Kempton tomorrow.  Viva Rafa has schooled well over fences but we don’t want to run him on too soft ground in his first chase, so he is having a run over hurdles before starting his chasing career in March.   He can run well fresh and Brendan Powell takes the ride.

Bertie Barnes was second in this race last year and runs off a similar mark tomorrow thanks to Danny Hiskett’s claim.  This year’s event looks more competitive than last years but he appears in good form and we are hopeful of him giving Barnes et al, a good day out.

Our yard sponsors Tori Global are sponsoring the bumper tomorrow and are having a charity race day and it will be good to support them raising money for Clic Sargent.
