Totterdown an Excellent Second

Totterdown ran an excellent race to finish second in the bumper at Hereford yesterday.  Still a bit too keen for his own good, he travelled strongly into the race turning for home and stayed on well to be beaten 2 ¼ lengths by the well-touted favourite.

Totterdown looks a horse of potential – he jumps well and should give his owners Fairford Goes Racing, some fun and excitement over the coming seasons.

Minella Whisper is declared in the midday at Doncaster tomorrow.  This full brother to some useful types won a point to point in Ireland and has had a wind operation since he made his debut for us at Uttoxeter.

A competitive race, hopefully we will find out a bit more about him tomorrow as he works and jumps well.

Madame Ritz is declared in the 5.45pm at Wolverhampton on Saturday.  She makes her debut for us over five furlongs and she is related to some decent speedy types and hopefully will show promise with Robert Havlin onboard.
