Arctic Chief declared for Kempton

A busy schooling morning with Ian Popham riding.  We were joined by Sarah Paul from Exeter University and storm Eleanor!  All jumped well in preparation for some racing once it stops raining.

We have declared Arctic Chief at Kempton on Friday in the mile and a half novice.  It will be his first run on the flat and Timmy Murphy rides.

He has had his soft palate cauterised since his last run over hurdles and hopefully he will appreciate the better surface.  He was placed in an all-weather bumper at Lingfield first time out over the same trip.

Although there are only four runners, the opposition are highly rated but it will be good to see if he finishes his race on this surface.

We are all looking forward to our Question of Sport which takes place on 1st February at the Cotswolds Club in Chipping Norton.   In aid of Well Child, once again we will be joined by legends Inverdale, Pougatch, Chamberlin, Fitzgerald, McCoy and Lysaght etc.  Full details below.  Please let us know if you would like to come along.
